The workshop organized for the 15th anniversary of Oliver E. Williamson's Nobel Prize by the Chaire Economie des Partenariats Public-Privé (EPPP) took place on the 17th and 18th at the Institut National du Service Public (INSP) in Paris.
This event was a great success, as over 60 academics, many from foreign universities, made the trip. In addition, during the two days, 20 research papers, both empirical and theoretical, were presented.
This great diversity of work contributed to the success of the conference and showed how the concepts and empirical approach («what is going on here?») forged by Williamson continue to permeate economic research by revisiting the boundaries between economics, law and institutions. This event, the fruit of collaboration between the Natural Resources and Local Economy Chair (RENEL) of the University of Lorraine, directed by Alexandre Mayol, and the EPPP Chair of the Sorbonne Business School, directed by Stéphane Saussier offered participants eight sessions during which speakers had the opportunity to present and discuss their work. This event will give rise to a special issue in the prestigious International Review of Law and Economics.
