Objectives

Compatible with a full time activity, the International MBA is a degree granting program that will enhance your skill set and support your personal growth and career development. 

The program provides training to: 

• Create a strong platform of fundamental business knowledge through interactive and innovative teaching methods ;

• Improve participant’s leadership, teamwork abilities and soft skills.

The program is taught part time over 18 months (13 months required attendance), making it compatible with a full time job and a dynamic career.

• Knowledge and know how supported by a dynamic and innovative research activity:

Deeply rooted in the business community, Sorbonne Business School is a major actor in applied research through its research center IAE-Paris Sorbonne, GREGOR, as well as its six Research groups (Chaires), which include major organizations both private and public (EDF, Vinci, Suez, BPCE, Michelin, GFI, Paris municipality…). The work carried out by these groups, produces results, which are relevant to organizational practice and contribute to academic knowledge that benefits to our students.

IAE Paris Alumni Sorbonne Business School association organizes over 100 events every year and manages around twenty professional chapters that are providing networking opportunities. 

Pedagogy

Active participation is promoted in our programs. Courses are organized with small groups in order to facilitate participation and interactions among students. 

Every student contributes to the collective learning by providing its experience and feedback.

The teaching fundamentally relies on the case study methodology. Reference textbooks are provided to the students. Sessions are dedicated to discussions of the concepts and their application, to case discussion and sharing of experience. Assignments are often practical.  Documents and notes are available on a Learning System (on line repository).
